And all through my heart
Reflection was happening
In whole, not in part...
I thought of my family
And friends
And school
Of the blessings surrounding this glorious year..
Really, I can't believe how blessed I am to be given all the gifts that I have.
God has provided jobs for me.
A way for me to attend school.
The camera that I wanted.
Friends who have helped me through adjusting to a new place.
Family that spur me towards my dreams and support my passions.
A college that I love.
A roommate who could not POSSIBLY be more perfect for me! We are like sisters. She is one of the biggest gifts that I was given this year.
A beautiful almost Librarian to come home to and hang out with who is absolutely a blessing in my life. My job would not be as fun without her, and my life would not be the same without her.
There are the friends at home, who greet me eagerly and who I can't wait to spend more time with.
And then there is the gift of rest. FIVE WHOLE WEEKS to rest and be off of school. I can not believe how amazing that is...
God gave the greatest gift of himself and that is more than I deserve. Yet... there are all these blessings that he has put in my life. Sitting down and thinking of them overwhelms me. I am so thankful...
Tomorrow morning there will be gifts to unwrap. Useful things that I will love and use and wanted. But the greatest gifts, the ones that I truly need, can't be packaged or priced. But remembering that they've been given is vital. Because they're the most important ones to have!
