Autumn

The leaves are like glittering pieces of sun falling from the heavens!
It's a glorious day outside.
The air is brisk, the sun is beaming, and the paths are dry.
Needless to say I won't be studying inside if it's within my power.

I think, after years of debate, that fall is my favorite season.
Of course, when the seasons change again I may change my mind.
Only because with every new season I find something new I love about it.

I love the way the leaves crunch under my feet
The way the colors on the trees are more than my eyes can take in
The way the sky has a deeper blue
And the grass looks like it's ready to sleep

Autumn is beautiful...

It puts a renewal in my spirit as I am reminded of promises.
Of steadfast love more consistent that the change of seasons.
Of purity clearer than the puddles.
Of beauty more overwhelming than the colors of fall.

Leaf showers are a glorious way to start a morning...
