Working in a library is like working in the presence of thousands of great minds! The beauty of the intellect I come across is fascinating. Tonight a friends introduced me to the great G.K. Chesterton. To Foxe's book of Martyrs, the the great martyr Polycarp in particular. To the Greek Lexicon's we have stored in Reference... I also happened upon the poetry section.
Sometimes I just have to stop and take a breath and sigh...
I'm not sure how I'm going to read all of these works before I die.
There are so many unexplored philosophies and theologies.
So many martyrs whose names I've never heard.
So many great proses gone unread...
Winter break couldn't get here fast enough.
I need more time to read!
