Counting My Sheep....

There are days that exhaust you. That simply drag you around, pull you in every direction, and emotionally drain you. I did not have one of those days. Today was rejuvenating. Today the trees bloomed pink. The sun shone bright enough to warm the ground, while the wind has enough of a wisp to remind you it is merely spring and not yet summer.

I finished all my schoolwork before four o'clock.
(It's amazing what you can do when you take a sanity break... read as "I skipped class")
A dear friend told me, "You're beautiful."
I curled up outside by the waterwheel and listened to the geese honk about campus.
I wrote a bit and read a bit...
Truly, it was a magnificent!
Dinner with Kelsey.
Rounds with my Megan.
And if that isn't enough? My hall became sheep.
They began singing the, "I knew you were trouble" t-swift song with interrupting sheep.
And Anna and Missy just jumped across my doorway in various poses and skips and hops.
Laughter ensued, and the moment was beautiful... when someone called out, "What are you doing?!" Anna just replied, "Kenzi is counting sheep."
And what lovely sheep they are...

"Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr. Seuss

These are the moments I cherish.
Those moments you cannot quite explain.
The, "I guess you had to be there."
The beauty of the mundane.
The startling and breathtaking joy of the ordinary.
