Mark 5:35-36
"While he was still speaking, there came from the ruler's house some who said, 'Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?' But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagog, 'Do not fear, only believe.'"
What is fear?
Anxiety.
Unease.
Dismay.
Dread.
Solicitude. Which is to worry for another.
Do not be anxious about the semester's work.
Do not be uneasy about where you are.
Do not be dismayed, for the Lord is your strength.
Do not dread tomorrow, for the Lord is the Lord of the future.
Do not be solicitous.
Believe.
Only believe.
Have faith.
Hope.
Love.
