I love when I get to work... because I love my job. Which is mainly a result of loving my librarians. Today I got to work and everyone asked if I was alright (from my previous head injury / toy fiasco last week). Then they wanted to know about graduation! And they really care! =) My favorite LIT #1 ended up getting me Guacamole and Chips (which are home made and delicious by the way!). But that's not all, they surprised me with a cake and a gift! A little mini party to celebrate my graduation. They're all just the sweetest! I can't imagine a better job... It took my pure joy to hold back the tears. I really don't know what I'll do at the end of the summer. I'm overjoyed for college, but leaving my job will sadden my heart.
Theses librarians have watched me grow up. They know me (evident by the fact they bought a PINK strawberry shortcake, and the card they gave me has butterflies). They are too much like family. The library can get a little crazy, and it can be really frustrating, and I can get annoyed at times... but that happens in family right?
So I guess I will never really leave the library... because if they're family, there will always be a little piece of them in my heart.
