Little children have the most beautiful minds.
The things they come up with astound me!
Their wit is beyond comprehension.
And the fact that they use large words incorrectly amuses me!
Today I encountered:
"NO YOU CAN'T RESCUE ME FROM THE TOWER YOU'RE NOT A PRINCE!"
(to which i responded that prince is in princess so it's okay if I rescue her)
"I'm invisible with sunglasses you know."
"I only eat goldfish. Ever. Because they're fish. And golden. I like fish. And gold things. Incrodihblee much." (that's how the kid said incredibly)
"You need surgery because you swallowed too many tickets!"
(I argued with the 'police' that they could NOT arrest me because I'm a princess, and princesses can't get arrested! So they stuffed tickets in my mouth, pretend of course, and i was rushed to 'surgery' and died. but then cam back to life because princesses can't die either, love little kid logic!)
I also colored, played red light green light, had a tea party, had 3 pictures drawn for me to stick up on my 'friderator' at home, and laughed a lot.
I love working with kids.
It's safe to say I'm picking the right profession!
