There's really no labor on that day...

But there was a lot of fun on that weekend!
Saturday I traveled with a group of people from my college and went to RevGen! It was FANTASTIC! I saw Brit Nicole, BarlowGirl, Brandon Health, Kutless, and I was FRONT ROW for Skillet! I JUST missed seeing The Almost, but I did hear the Afters as I waited in line for an autograph, and I got to meet them after the concert too! I also met Aaron Gillespie, the former drummer for Underoath and the current drummer of The Almost. It was one of the coolest parts of the day!
I say ONE of because THEE coolest part of that day was that I got to see my lovely Rachel who was there with the rest of her familia to see the concert. It was like a little taste of homeschooling again! I loved rocking out with her and catching up a little and just being together. After all there wasn't THAT much talking, we were at concerts all day. I didn't get back from RevGen until about 12:30 AM. So I was pretty wiped out by the time I actually fell asleep.
Needless to say I slept in the next morning! All the way until 11. It was like a breath of fresh air really. Off to lunch where I ate with some friends. Then I just went and hung out with Justin and Alex and had a movie marathon before I was attacked with nurf guns. Their room has TEN! TEN?! WHO KEEPS TEN DIFFERENT TYPES OF NURF GUNS IN THEIR ROOM?! Apparently they do... but eventually I was able to defend myself as they gave me a pistol. That seems a little less impressive when you realize that Alex was using a machine nurf gun... It was all in good fun though. Seriously! It was a LOT of fun! Later that night there was worship, it was great! Tim was leading with Emily Ann and Justin played the drums. It was fun to watch my friends lead while worshiping. After we all ended up going out to dinner (all including Alex and Emma). Okay, it wasn't really dinner, it was more like a midnight snack. But it was still really yummy! I have so much fun with these people, I can't even tell you what makes us laugh, but we're constantly laughing.
Monday was a little more relaxed, but actually had some work. I did some homework, I talked to my family, and then I went to this Garden/Park with Olesia and we met Kels there. KELS IS HOOOOME! Oh wow I loved having her back! =) So we proceeded to spend the day in our 'Romantic Age England' escape. We talked Jane Austen and acted like complete hopeless romantics while laughing and having so much fun. Of course my lovely camera was with me as always, so I could possibly be putting pictures of this magical escape up soon. I love it there! I intend to go back, the student price is reasonable too. I finished up homework that night with Kels. And Emily Ann took me on an adventure to break up the mundane of homework. =)
Yesterday it was back to classes, starting on my busiest day! But that's okay because as far as homework was concerned I wasn't up too incredibly late.

Today... today was a short day of classes. Today was really a blessing. I got a LOT done, I didn't have too much homework, I was able to finish it all at a reasonable hour, I knocked out stuff on my to-do list. All GREAT things! The only thing today that nagged at me was a slight bought of being homesick. If I was home today I would be at Rosh Hashana dinner with my Elphie, eating too much and having yummy grape juice. So, my friend bought me grape juice and Kels and I had our own mini dinner to celebrate the Jewish new year. Just because this is the first time that I feel ever so slight sickness for home. Not enough to want to leave here, but enough to want to be there. I know that doesn't sound quite right, but it's precisely how I feel.

Tomorrow I have a paper to write, but I also have SWING! I have been counting the hours. It's fantastic, I'm so incredibly excited! Swing might possibly be the highlight of my entire week. Except when I get letters, letters are usually better than swing.

Ah well... I'm off to read Genesis 1-2 and compare it to the creation story told by ancient Babylonians and compare and contrast them in an essay. Us college kids know how to party huh?
