Obviously we're very animated...

Here at college we like to stay up late.
Okay that's a lie, I would love to sleep.
I guess the proper term is we can't help but stay up late?
They have us running around with activities out the wazoo and then we have the night to actually talk to people, sit down, read a book, have devotions, write a little, and listen to music. Or even take a shower! It's been a long day.
It started out with a broken alarm clock... I'll have to order a new one.
Then came coffee.
Then... ahhh, worship.
And what a beautiful service it was. Kels and I sat next to each other on the bleachers. Can I just say, I have never felt the presence of God more in a gym than I did there today. It was amazing. And truly special. Then our hall headed off to brunch together, yummm. I'm going to enjoy this 'show up and pick what you want' deal. It's offers a lot more options than me having to cook in the morning! Then we had a little free time. I spent it talking and meeting new people!

Then off to Choices, where our RA's gave skits that showed different morals on respecting each other as a community, and the rules and guidelines here. It was actually really funny, and helped with learning. I love my RA (in case I haven't said that). The we had Color Games, but due to rain... it was really 'get to know a new group of people'. I liked that better anyway! We also began preparing for the variety show. We're doing a skit to a TV show's theme song. But, this is a competition, so our exact plans are hush hush I believe. It's all rather exciting. The show is for the whole school on Friday! Insane really.

Then we had more free time so Kels and I bonded a little more doing girly stuff (like talking a lot). And then I went to Walmart with Les. Walmart... good times.

There was a pool party tonight but it wasn't exactly the highlight of my day so I won't really dwell on it. I will say though, that people here are extremely friendly!

And people at home are reading out so much to make me feel loved.
I've gotten 6 texts from people I love as leaders, and 8 from different friends.
A call from my brother.
And multiple facebook postings asking how I am.
As well as one novel long email from a friend.

All in all, I'm really feeling the love and encouragement. <3
